In addition, the maritime domain itself is responsible for thousands of job on vessel, ports, shipyards, cargo sector and numerous support industries. clearly, the maritime system is comprised of a myriad of users, supply chains, and connections to other modes and industries.

There are two MBA (Master of Business Administration) programs :
(1) Port and Shipping Management.
(2) International Transportation and logistics Management.
The general objective of MBA in Port and Shipping Management is to ensure that after successfully completing this programme, the young students can obtain management positions in the shipping, cargo and port industry. Further the students are equipped to solve complicated management problems, having gained required knowledge and competency such as integrated multi-disciplinary professional knowledge on shipping and transport at the highest academic level and skills to apply this knowledge on tactical and strategic level in the port shipping industry.
The general objectives of MBA in International Transportation and Logistics Management are to enable the students to have a detailed knowledge and understanding of both the operations and strategies of shipping as a single transport mode within the context of international multimodal logistics. The course provides the students not only with a solid basis in managerial subjects but also with in-depth knowledge of the supply chain and logistics sector and the latest developments in transport management.
Eligibility : A Bachelor degree in any discipline with 50% of marks from recognized Universities (Incorporated by an Act of the Central or state Legislature in India.)
Duration of course : 2 years (Residential)
Documents Required : The filled in application form along with, with the following documents :- A complete Curriculum Vitae and a recent passport size photograph. Attested copy of the degree certificate, statement of marks, Transfer Certificate (TC) and relevant academic transcript.
Selection Procedure : "PHOENIX MARITIME SERVICES PVT LTD" Undertakes an Aptitude and written tests follow by an interview. The final selection will only takes place after medical check-up through our panel (Note: Selection of the candidates and their admissions will be through combined Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Indian Maritime University & it is mandatory for candidates to qualify in CET test conducted by IMU to seek admission in MBA (port and Shipping Management, International Transportation and logistics Management.) Program of IMU . PHOENIX MARITIME IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF CANDIDATES FAIL TO QUALIFY IMU CET TEST.)
Details pertaining to MBA CET : Duration of exam is of 180 min (3 hrs.). The question paper has 6 components, namely 1. Economics 2. Accountancy 3. General Knowledge 4. General Aptitude 5. General Mathematics 6. General English (Note: Each component will be given equal weightage.)
